Delete your account
Last updated: 2 August 2026
Deleting is immediate and permanent. There is no waiting period and no way to undo it.
In the app
- Open Settings
- Tap Delete account
- Confirm
That's the whole thing. It happens straight away. There's no cooling-off period during which we quietly keep the account warm.
If you can't get into the app
Email contact@seatt.app from the address on your account and ask for it to be deleted. If you signed in with Apple and used Hide My Email, send it from the relay address Apple gave you, or tell us your display name and roughly when you signed up so we can find the account.
We will confirm once it is done.
Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your account does not cancel Seatt Plus. The subscription belongs to your Apple ID, not to us, and it will keep renewing.
Cancel it first: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Seatt.
What is deleted
- Your profile, name, age, photos and every detail on it
- Your plans, and any seat you were holding
- Your messages
- Your statistics and private record
- Your Sign in with Apple connection, which we revoke with Apple
What is not deleted
Two things outlive the account, on purpose:
- Reports made about you. A pattern of harm should not vanish with the account that caused it. These are kept and are readable by the people who handle safety.
- The other person's record of a plan you shared. They keep their own history of that evening, and you show up on it as a deleted user. Your deletion shouldn't erase somebody else's night out.
Everything else goes.
